ブログのしゅくだい(くろこのバスケ)

こにちは、みなさん!
今週私はくろこのバスケ(Kuroko's Basketball)をみました!とてもよっかたでした。

This week I watched Kuroko's Basketball as my Japanese material.  It was really good.  I didn't get to watch all of it, but over Thanksgiving Break I watched around 25 episodes or so.  Basically, it's about a middle school team of basketball prodigies called "The Generation of Miracles" who all go on to seperate teams when the move up to highschool.  Kuroko is a player who only excels at passing, and is really bad at everything else about the game because he lacks presence, so he uses that to misdirect everyone and make super sneaky passes to his teammates.  He really loves basketball, but none of his teammates on the Generation of Miracles cared about anything but winning, so now that they're all on different teams, he makes it his business to show them all that "his basketball" is the right way.  In other words, he wants to show them that there's more to basketball than just winning because they're prodigies.
Each episode was about 24 minutes, the average length of an anime episode, and since I watched around 25, that's about ten hours of anime over five days.  Yikes.  I guess it really was good!  I'd really recommend this show, even if you aren't interested in basketball at all.  My friend from home hates basketball (he thinks it's boring) but because of how the show isn't just about that, but teamwork and loving your friends and doing things together, it has a lot more to offer than just basketball.  You guys should definitely watch it!
